About Me

Welcome! I'm Becca, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in the beautiful state of Colorado. I graduated with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School in 2020. Following, I worked at an eating disorder treatment center for two and a half years before transitioning into the outpatient world. I currently specialize in helping individuals navigate through eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more (just ask!).
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a safe and supportive environment, empowering you to discover your inner strength and promote healing. I most often incorporate Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (let's explore what you value in life), EMDR (let's work your nervous system so you can optimize your time in your window of tolerance) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (let's challenge your pesky internal dialogue). I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (exploring your parts of self). There is not a "one size fits all" when it comes to what therapeutic approach is the "most helpful". I am always tailoring my sessions to my clients and what they are needing individually.

As a therapist, I have also spent my fair share of time in therapy! Personal therapy has helped me tremendously throughout my life and it has been part of my purpose to become a therapist and help clients on their path to fulfillment. I may self-disclose experiences I have had in sessions, but only if I find it helpful for my client and their journey.

In my free time you can find me out in the mountains, whether that is biking, running, camping, or skiing. Adventure is one of my top values and I do my best to move towards that value whenever I can.

I have two cats who I absolutely adore and they will visit in session from time to time.
